Gift cards Sales of gift cards are final and are not eligible for a refund once the Gift card voucher code has been transmitted. Gift cards expire 12 months after purchase. The expiration date can be extended once for another 12 months upon request.

General Terms and conditions
Scope The General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as "GTCs") apply to all Orders placed via the BATMAID SA online shop (hereinafter also referred to as "batmaid.ch") and all contracts concluded (hereinafter referred to as "Orders") with customers of BATMAID SA (BATMAID SA and the customers collectively referred to as “Parties” (and “Party” shall mean any of them) These GTCs are binding for the entire present and future business relationship between the Parties and apply to all offers issued by BATMAID SA, even if these GTCs are not expressly incorporated by reference. With acceptance of such offer, the customers assent to these GTCs. BATMAID SA reserves the right to change the GTCs. The valid version of the GTCs at the time of placing the Order shall apply. It may not be amended unilaterally for the relevant Order.
Offers Offers are made to customers who are either natural persons or legal entities domiciled in Switzerland. Deliveries may be made only to addresses in Switzerland. Offers are valid for only as long as they appear on the online shops. BATMAID SA may change its prices and product range at any time. The images used in advertising media, brochures, on the online shop, etc. are for illustrative purposes only and are non-binding. Only the specific information displayed while booking an Order are valid.
Pricing Prices are displayed in Swiss francs and include value-added tax (VAT). The prices stated on the online shop at the time of placing an Order shall apply.
Ordering The presentation of products on the online shop shall not constitute a legally binding proposal but rather a non-binding online catalog or non-binding invitation to customers to Order a given service through the online shop. BATMAID SA reserves the right to limit services to only certain areas in Switzerland and cannot be held responsible if a service is not available at a given time or in a given area. Placing an Order shall constitute an offer to enter into a contract with BATMAID SA. Following placement of the Order, the customer shall receive a confirmation by batmaid.ch as soon as the service has been confirmed, which shall constitute receipt of the Order. Orders of services can be adjusted and cancelled free of charge until 48 hours before the start date of the service by the customer. Any special offers and discounts applicable at the time of the adjustment are not taken into account. BATMAID SA may reject an Order, either in its entirety or in part, without stating the grounds. In such cases, BATMAID SA will inform its customers accordingly and refund any payments already made. No other claims shall be accepted. In particular, services booked for postcodes not covered will be automatically rejected.
Conclusion of a contract An offer by BATMAID SA to the customer is deemed binding and shall constitute a contract between BATMAID SA and the customer when it has not been expressly rejected by the customer within the time specified in the offer, unless BATMAID SA decides to consider the acceptance of the customer valid even if expressed after such time.
Complaints In case the cleaning service was not to the full satisfaction of the client, the client will make a complaint by either calling the customer care service on +41 21 624 54 15 or sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. The case will be reviewed by the BATMAID SA customer service and discounts may be offered based on a case by case basis. Batmaid.ch reserves the right to request proof of bad cleanings or damage. In case of damage during the cleaning service the customer immediately indicates this to the customer service center of BATMAID SA. BATMAID SA is able to cover damages of up to CHF 1’000.00 per year due to a complimentary damage insurance taken out by BATMAID SA. Damages will be reviewed on a case by case basis. BATMAID SA reserves the right to request proof of the damage. The damage will have to be fixed/replaced by the customer. BATMAID SA will then reimburse the customer based on previously discussed quotas. Complaints and damages need to be communicated to the BATMAID SA customer service center within 48 hours after the cleaning.
Electronic payment Customers may pay using credit cards (Visa, Mastercard or American Express). One-time cleaning services may be paid using a debit card (PostFinance exclusively) or PayPal. When paying by credit card or debit card, the amount is charged after the service has been conducted. For one-time cleaning services, there will be an immediate authorization on the card of the full amount corresponding to the service. For regular cleanings there will be an authorization during 48 hours before the start date of the service. The full amount calculated for the cleaning, after potential adjustments, will be charged off of the card up to 48 hours after the cleaning.
Purchase on account Because batmaid.ch must bear the initial cost of Orders, it shall verify the customer's solvency before the cleaning in Order to prevent itself against any potential risks of default. Batmaid.ch may refuse payment on account without stating the grounds to the customer. In the case of payments on account for which invoices with bank details are sent by post or email, payments have to be made within 10 days upon reception of the invoice by the customer. Should a customer be in arrears and fail to meet their payment obligations either in full or in part, all outstanding amounts that the customer owes batmaid.ch shall be due immediately, regardless of the ground, and batmaid.ch may demand settlement thereof immediately. In the event of payment default, batmaid.ch will not be obliged to accept new Orders and will be entitled to suspend outstanding services and/or declare the contract terminated, without limiting any other rights it may have In the event of default, batmaid.ch will be entitled to charge dunning fees and late-payment interest at a rate of 5%. All expenses incurred in connection with the recovery and collection of overdue payments shall be borne by the customer. Should reminders fail to secure payment, batmaid.ch will be entitled to commission a debt-collection agency to recover the invoiced amounts. This debt-collection agency will assert the claims for the outstanding amounts in its own name and may charge additional processing fees and late-payment interest from the due date.
Refunds, credits and vouchers If a customer is entitled to a refund or other, the relevant amount is credited to the relevant customer account and can be used for purchases at batmaid.ch. Batmaid.ch vouchers can be neither sold nor auctioned off to any third party. Only one voucher may be used per Order.
Applicable law and jurisdiction These GTCs as well as the use of batmaid.ch are exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with Swiss law. The sole place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising out of or in connection with the GTCs stipulated herein and/or the use of batmaid.ch is Lausanne, Switzerland. BATMAID SA nevertheless reserves the right to initiate proceedings against the customer before the competent court at the customer’s domicile or any other competent authority.
